Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox is a Scottish born singer. Her birth date was the 25th of December in 1954, at Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox was accepted into the Royal Academy of Music in London during the 1970s when she learned the flute piano as well as the harpsichord for three consecutive years. Lennox was able to survive on the stipend of a student as well as working part-time in order to earn a living. Lennox as she was studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London, was not happy with her performance as compared to the performance of her peers. She began considering different options. Lennox played flute in a band named Dragons Playground in 1976. She left the band before the band was asked to participate in I.T.V.'s talent competition New Faces. Between 1977 and the year 1980 she was the vocalist in The Tourists. A British pop group. They met Dave Stewart, with whom formed the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox began work on Diva in 1992. It was her debut solo album. Both commercially as well as critically the album was a massive achievement. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album came out in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox has chosen her favorite jazz, blues and soul tracks. Lepidoptera came out by Lennox on the 19th of May 2019. The collection comprised of four songs improvised. The E.P. is an accompanying piece to her art installation in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called"Now, I'll let You Go... It's the first time she has released an independent album. Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on 25 December. She is a philanthropist, activist as well as a singer. The Tourists gained some minor notoriety for Dave Stewart's work during the 1970s. They went on, in the 1980s, to become the popular duo Eurythmics. Lennox's debut album in 1992 Diva produced many successful songs, including Why the World is Broken Glass. Medusa the album she released in 1995 contains cover versions of songs including No MoreI I Love Yous as well as A Whiter Shade of Pale.
