Ally Sheedy Bio

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, an American actress. Her debut in film was Bad Boys (1983). She later joined the Brat Pack and then went into the role of WarGames The Breakfast Club, WarGames, and Short Circuit. For her performance on Lisa Cholodenko's High Art Sheedy won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead. Sheedy was married to David Lansbury married on April 12 in 1992. David Lansbury was the brother of Edgar Lansbury's producer Godspell, as well as the nephew of the actress Angela Lansbury. Beckett Lansbury was born in 1994. Beckett is a trans man who's transition Sheedy states she's had a great experience. Alexandra Elizabeth Ally Sheedy, born June 13th, 1962 in the city of New York, is an American film and stage actor. She also wrote two books. Her best-known work is in Bratpack films The Breakfast Club and St. Elmo's Fire. The Breakfast Club by John Hughes: Why? The movie's name, "The Breakfast Club", is a play on a school nickname for detention. Presumably students arrive early in the morning, usually around breakfast, to be detained.
